Visin the LumberJack
So now it has happened. Rogues are going to have axes, and yes, it is going to be ugly. All those times you have sat back and wondered why you were not able to have axes, it has been solved!
Now how is this axe using going to fair with your other skills and abilities? I have no idea.
Rogues will be running around trying to chop down trees while having a big blue ox named “Babe”, right? I believe so. As for Visin’s use of axes, it will probably not ever happen because my daggers look way more pretty than some bulky axe. Visin loves her daggers and she will always use them, at least until they make swords better for Rogue’s again…-sigh-
But what skills are going to be born while having axes? Here are some things I have came up with while pondering about different skills and talents.
1. Sword and Axe improvements, combined into one talent.
2. Axe skill combo builder that includes a bleed of course.
3. Axe’s should be better used against Druids in tree form =D
So, my ideas aren’t the greatest but hey, I am trying. I don’t see your ideas, dont complain about mine haha. I hope to see these new skills and talent changes taken place pretty soon, not that I will use them, but I want to see how it will come into play with Rogue DPS cycles.
I want to see what other Rogue’s have to say about these changes and if they are going to make the big change into the land of big forest, big ox, and big axes. Drop us a line at Ambush factor and we will discuss your little ideas. Buh-Bye!

Rogue Raiding : AWOL
March 30, 2009 by Visin · Leave a Comment
I am writing this for you all that do read this. This is for you because I feel that I owe back to the community while this site is not our main website it is our sister website in which we tend to let go most of the time. The reason that this author (Visin AzerothNow.com) has not been writing so much is due to the simple drug named “Raiding”. Rogue Raiding is a tough task as most tend to not really care for you anymore because most would rather have someone that can take care of themselves such as Paladin, Druid, Shaman, etc. Let us prove them wrong friends, let us show them that our DPS is one to not be fooled with, and that we do have a place in raids and we will be the ones sought after!
In order to prove yourself to most of the guilds out there while being a Rogue you need to show them one a few things, which mainly includes how much DPS you can show off on the boss fights and how well you know your fights. Now let us put the strategy of the bosses to the side and get to the needy greedy aspect of DPS fights.
You will need to have the best gear that you can.
You will need to have that gear enchanted the best that you can.
You will need to make sure you can use that gear the best way that you can.
Notice one thing about this is that is all up to you what you can do to get in the best guilds and what you do that proves your class. Now I have been off proving myself to my own guild showing them that Rogue’s still have a fighting chance and hopefully one day you all can show the rest of the world that as well. So get out there and try to prove yourself because that is what it is truly all about… that and kicking some warlocks teeth in!

3.09 Patch Notes for Feb 10
February 10, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
It’s baaaack, bigger, batter, and badder than before…. It’s the new patch just landing today.
Ok, ok, it’s a small patch with only a few changes. Death Knights, for once, didn’t get buffed, which is a nice change for those of us who like PvP.
Here are the Rogue changes, from the offiical Patch Page: (Ability links will open a new Thottbot window.)
- Hunger for Blood (Assassination): Now increases damage 5% per stack, (up from 3%.)
- Sounds good to me. While an additional 2% ain’t much it’s still something.
- Mind Numbing Poison now reduces cast time by 30%, down from 60%.
- Bheh. As of this writing, Thottbot doesn’t yet reflect this change. I guess to many mages complained about numb minds. Not a biggie, I think, but what do you think?
- Mutilate damage will now do 20% increased damage against poisoned targets, down from 50%.
- Ah yes. About that carnage that Mutilate Rogues are leaving all over the battlefields…
- Slice and Dice: This ability now increases melee attack speed by 40%, up from 30%.
- A nice DPS increase.
So what do you think? Overall good, bad, or Zzzz?
